What if there are totally other reasons for China to keep their people isolated? What if they discovered something that the stupid westerners did not discover? I had come to the same conclusions myself. China can't let it's economy stay way under utilized for long, fighting an impossible to win zero Covid policy. If their newest vaccine is way less effective than Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, they will have to pay the money and import a billion doses or more. Let people get back to work, vaccinated. They can and will require that people working in close quarters must wear their masks. This may take a few months to play out, but the longest I can see it being delayed is Q2 2023.
