Anyone who thinks Russia blew up its own pipeline either to “send a message” or create a false flag to justify attacking NATO (something it doesn’t want), needs to get their head checked...

Regarding the destruction of the Nordstream pipelines, my initial reaction before I engaged my brain was, "Russia did it". I then found myself watching the following Russel Brand video and although he doesn't state his opinion, there are plenty of compelling reasons for the US to have done it:

The US is now the gas supplier of choice to the EU. All Putin had to do was turn the taps off if he wanted to stop the gas. True, if he did sanction the destruction of the pipelines then it sends the message, "No more gas for you, ever! Winter is going to suck for you with zero possibility of Russian gas!". However, given Russia now needs to spend a decade building the infrastructure for the gas to be shipped elsewhere - covered at length by Marko Papic - would Putin really have wanted to take the rather drastic action of permanently shutting down the European export option? Is that the move of a coldly rational actor? I find it worthy of some conjecture that the US did it, because short-medium term they definitely benefit from the LNG exports, plus they have never liked Nordstream 2:

I would have a question.

I live in Switzerland and earn my income in CHF too: what's your view on the any reasonable trade in this crazy environment? I've the feeling that simply ignoring anything and waiting on cash might be the best path given the current situation at least in regards to FX (other trade options are a different topic though just as troubled as I have to make the assumption that the USD when it turns will actually fall off a cliff relative to CHF as last time it did with 40% in less than a year so anything that is mainly US income driven is a big??? GBP, Yen and EUR already did so)
